The Iowa Specialty Crop Growers Association (formerly, the Iowa Fruit & Vegetable Growers Association) is the membership organization for producers of fruits, vegetables, and specialty crops in the state. All producers, large or small, who are growing fruits, and vegetables or specialty crops for sale, are welcome to join. ISCGA promotes the interest of fruit, vegetable and specialty crop growers of our state through meetings, access to information, research, networking and mentoring opportunities.

This association is a 501(C) 5 nonprofit corporation that was established in 1984 as the Iowa Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association that merged from two existing grower associations. The Iowa Fruit Growers Association was created in 1959. Its bylaws indicated the association would terminate in 1984 or 25 years after incorporation. The Iowa Vegetable Growers Association incorporated in 1962. The vegetable growers held conferences with the Muscatine Island Truck Growers, which formed in 1935. ISCGA remains an affiliate of its grandparent organization, the Iowa State Horticultural Society.
